Ch Ch changes, better adjust!!

Life comes at you fast sometimes. From everything you learn. Sometimes lessons you wish you could have skipped. Family, men and friends, they are the source of the greatest joy and the deepest pain.
It is a beautiful day, after so many days of rain. I think I feel a slight touch of Fall. Maybe I just want it to be Fall so bad. It has been so hot this year. I love the outdoors, but not when it is 96 degrees.
As per usual things that really tug at my heart, are hard to express. I hate being alone...There I said it. Life as widow sucks. Who knew? there were married days when I longed to have a few minutes of my own. Well boy I have them now. Mom said be careful what you wish for..Right again, Mom.
A long term relation seems to escape me. Plenty of one nights, if I were the type. Not my thing, never was. I always believed in one man-one woman relations.

name tags on your clothes, and it ain't going camping

If you live long enough and well enough you will end up with your name written in your clothes. Even some of your favorite clothes.
Life happens , surgery happens, next thing you know you find yourself in a re-hab (actually a nursing home). unless you have a very loving and extended family, you will sending things off to the laundry. some to never return, but it for another day. Ever think about how humiliating it is to have to write you name in large letters in the back of your once sexy undies. From forever forward your undies will make a statement.I have been in place where I was only a name.
kids got to camp and get their names written on all their clothes and it is no big deal. They are going to loose it or outgrow it this year anyway.
When an adult has to sit down and write his or her name in his PJ's , it draws all sorts of nightmares. Man, I am becoming my Mother, will I ever get out of this place with any dignity left?
A few of the nicer pieces I decided I could get by without a label as they were very easy to identify, when I needed to pick them from the laundry. Well it turns out it was less of a problem than I thought, the laundress, recognized my fancy panties, and took the liberty of writing my name in for me. In very large letters, I might add.
Oh well deal with it, just one of the many joys of aging the sunshine state.
